THE EARTH IS DYING or the interstellar Arch named Rebirth

The story.

This is the story of the end times on Earth and the saving of humanity thanks to the interstellar ark Renaissance which must go into space to try to save humanity.

In the year 2924, humanity is living its final hours on Earth. For over a thousand years, humankind has neglected the planet. Pollution has warmed the atmosphere. The polar ice caps have melted, disrupting the balance of the tectonic plates; earthquakes are frequent, and volcanoes are erupting.

The oceans have cooled, the climate balance is compromised; hurricanes and storms have multiplied; floods in the north, rising waters erode the continents; drought in the south, gigantic fires, burned crops, famine.

But also: overpopulation, epidemics multiplying, exodus of peoples from the south, wars breaking out. Too late, life will soon no longer be possible on Earth.

Humanity's salvation will come from space.

Orario 221 , a spaceship pilot, is at the heart of the story and tells us what he experiences within this project.

For years, in utmost secrecy, a gigantic spaceship has been under construction in orbit around Earth. It will be capable of transporting thousands of couples, chosen for their skills, their profession, and even their ethnicity. They will have to journey through space, with several generations succeeding one another, in search of a planet that can welcome them and save humanity.

What will they find? This is the story of: THE EARTH IS DYING or the Interstellar Ark named Rebirth

These are the basics of the concept album. While this initial scenario has certainly been explored before, I think the rest is original and the epilogue is unexpected.

This is the introduction where I describe the state of the earth and the consequences for humanity.

The incredible secret 

Faced with Earth's decline and the impending extinction of humanity, an insane and incredible project was born in the minds of men: to flee, to flee Earth into the cosmos, in search of a planet capable of sustaining humankind and allowing them to rebuild civilization and perpetuate the human species.

Decades ago, in the utmost secrecy, the Renaissance interstellar ark was born.

This is an immense vessel capable of accommodating a thousand people whose mission will be to survive in total autonomy for generations if necessary, traveling light years in search of a welcoming planet.

Its construction is nearing completion and the selection of pairs begins on land.

The Heartbreaker 

The story: Everything is ready on the ark; most of the couples are already on board. On Earth, the project remains top secret, but the last couples must be sent off without arousing suspicion to avoid panic and chaos. Shuttles have been departing regularly for several years, officially to build the International Space Station, so these final departures shouldn't surprise anyone. Secrecy must be maintained, yet it's a truly momentous event. These last departures are full of hope for humanity.

The interstellar Arch called Rebirth 

This fourth piece describes the arrival at the ark, the discovery of the interior, the equipment, the mission.

Previously, this track was called "Without Her, Everything Is Lost." But I completely reworked it following everyone's feedback. First
, the title. It's now called: The Interstellar Arch Called Rebirth.
The very structure of the composition. Before, there were two different tempos at the beginning and during the synth solo; now everything is in the same tempo from beginning to end. This gives the whole thing more coherence.
The intro is shorter, without guitar.
The vocal melody, which some said resembled "On the Road Again" by Lavilliers, I think I've done what was necessary.
The synth solo has been replaced by a guitar solo.
And the vocals are in English, which I did myself...

Come what may.    With Charles on vocals.

Orario is in the ark; preparations for the great voyage are complete. The colonists are asleep, the crew is at the helm. Slowly, the ark comes to life and detaches from the space station to take flight.

The space station is gradually moving away and the ark is gaining speed. Everything is configured, set to traverse space in search of Earth's twin sister.

The crew can then retire and fall asleep in turn, leaving the computers in control. Go for the great journey, towards infinity, in silence, towards our last chance.

We enter the unknown space with its utter silence....

Interstellar Trip  ( English version where I don't sing too badly) 

This is the sixth track from my concept album "The Interstellar Ark." It's the first song where I finally switch to English for my international recognition.     Charles62 really opened my eyes, and singing in English sounds better.
Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I sing again. 
The title tells you that this now takes place in space. It's the departure into the unknown.

Solar storm

Decades have passed during which the spaceship has continued its journey, still searching for Earth's twin sister.

Unfortunately, a solar storm erupts, and the ship is in its path. This phenomenon occurs when the Sun experiences a large  surface eruption  that ejects plasma into space. These bursts of particles disrupt the magnetic field, irradiate the ship, causing signal loss and damaging electrical systems, resulting in the ship losing control.

Here, Earth is no longer responding, and the crew knows they are alone now.

Hope is back.

After Earth fell silent, the mood on the ship was at its lowest, but then a planet appeared on the radar. Hope was reborn...

First approach

This is the departure of the shuttle to explore this planet.
The first part is the launch of the reconnaissance shuttle until it crosses the very dense cloud layer surrounding the planet.
The second part is the discovery of the first landscapes after crossing the cloud layer until landing, or almost.

Dream land

After leaving the mothership and landing on this planet, the crew explores it to discover if it is inhabited.

Revelation 

Upon reaching the entrance of a cave, the crew decides to explore it. At the end of the cave, they are met with a revelation. They discover a submerged city that is remarkably similar to Earth.

After having the revelation that they had returned to Earth, Orario begins to think about what might have happened to Earth during all those years.
